Tummy Tuck (abdominoplasty)

If you’re looking for a flatter, firmer and more youthful abdomen, tummy tuck surgery is the way to go.

• We remove part of the hanging skin in the lower part of the tummy, repair hernia (strengthening the abdominal wall) and restore a youthful appearance to the lower abdomen

Body contouring surgery after massive weight loss

There has been increased awareness around morbid obesity, and therefore tremendous changes in this area of medicine. We are receiving more and more patients who lost weight and they require body contouring surgery, total body lift, e.g. belt lipectomy (tummy tuck thigh lift, buttock lift), breast lift and arm lift.

Arm Lift ( Barchioplasty)

• This is a common procedure after massive weight loss
• The procedure entails removing excess loss skin and giving the arm a more youthful appearance
• The procedure done as a day case, so you will go home on the same day
• Procedure is done under general anesthesia
• Brachioplasty, however, results in a permanent scar across the length of the upper arm, from the armpit to the elbow. Dr. Ashoor leaves the scar on the back of the arm, which is not clearly visible
• Patients need to wear a pressure garment for couple of weeks
